Arrivals: Spinning Wheel edition

We strongly encourage you to share a ride with someone! Saves gas money, easier on the parking, and it’s way more fun. Every vehicle needs a pre-purchased parking pass this year.
Most parking will be in an offsite lot, 1 mile away.
Unloading will happen in the parking area before setting up camp or reparking your car, so we recommend bringing a cart.
Door times (DO NOT ARRIVE WHEN DOOR’S CLOSED!):
- Saturday, 7/1: 3pm–1am
- Sunday, 7/2: 9am–Midnight
- Monday, 7/3: 9am–Midnight
- Tuesday, 7/4, Noon gate CLOSED. If you’re not working strike, you should be gone by now!
Shuttle will be running:
- Saturday, 7/1: 3pm–Midnight
- Sunday, 7/2: 11am–4pm
- Monday, 7/3: 11am–4pm
- Tuesday, 7/4: 8am–Noon
If you arrive when Door is closed, the Security team will direct you to temporary parking (it’s close to the unload spot for camping). You will be required to leave your car keys and return in the morning to move your car to either the onsite or offsite lot (depending on which you purchased)

Remember to buy your parking pass before you arrive. You’re also required to show a negative Covid test taken the day of your arrival. Read the full Covid policy here.
Directions
Please drive carefully and slowly. Enjoy the scenery.
The road into Spinning Wheel is unpaved and can get to a 7% grade in a couple places. Make sure your tires are in good condition. We don’t expect rain, so that helps. Still, we do not recommend large trailers, cars with low clearance, or vehicles over 22’.
It’s easy to miss the turn onto Cherry Lake Road from Hwy 120/Big Oak Flat Road. About 15 miles past Groveland, keep your eyes open for a bridge and signs for historic Rainbow Pool. The left turn onto Cherry Lake Road is immediately after Rainbow Pool. Follow Cherry Lake until you see a little Spinning Wheel sign. Turn right onto the unpaved Forest Rte 1N07, and follow that to Spinning Wheel.
Get directions directly from Google Maps. Apple Maps reportedly has an inaccurate location for Spinning Wheel.
