This year’s artists have created spaces that invite you to explore, play, reflect, connect, and rest through the day and the night. Whether you’re drawn to lights, sounds, softness, stillness, or silliness, there’s something here for you.
Some installations ask for quiet. Rest inside The Cocoon, a crocheted nest suspended in stillness. Visit the Dreamtemple, the Midnight Oasis, or a glowing Pyramid Portal to share tea, stories, and gentle connection with friends or strangers. Take a moment to listen to soft voices gathered into a collective memory at Whispers or share the primordial vibrations of your voice at Sound Cauldron.
Other pieces are all about interaction. Lay on the Bass Bubble or Bass Bed and feel music vibrate through your body and perhaps look up to The Canopy of LEDs flowing to the music. At Touchtone, music and light emerge from the ways we connect to each other. Create your own visual art with only your gestures at the Wave Conductor. Or have a romantic or platonic moment with a puppet at the Puppet Kissing Booth.
The river holds its own quiet magic. Undertone submerges glowing strands of light into the Feather River, responding to the currents and the music around it—offering a moment to reflect about things beneath the surface.
Wander further and you might find a Floating Island Night Market where you are served gravity-defying dishes, a glowing Phone Booth™, the threshold of boundaries at the Liminal Saloon, a venue to Amuse Your Bouche, a healing Message to the Parents We Should Have Had, and even a Campfire that offers no heat but calls you to bring friends to stay warm. Or you might not be looking for anything at all, but just following a sound, the moonlight, or a feeling.

Wave Conductor is a gestural playground of video ripples, sonic crescendoes, cymatic mayhem and vibrant constellations of light. Raise your hands above the statue, wave your arms like a conductor, open and close your fists for more layers of control.
